Mezzo-Soprano Belinda Paige Jimenez is a Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance and has performed with the Arizona Opera, The Lyric Opera Theater at Arizona State University, and The Boston University Opera Institute. She has recently sung the roles of Nicklausse in Les Contes d'Hoffmann, Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro, Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte, and Tisbe in La Cenerentola.
Belinda moved to the Los Angeles area in April of 2016 to further pursue performance and teaching. She has taught voice and piano lessons since 2010, and continues to further her education by writing and publishing new research in vocal performance. Her most recent publication was published in April of 2016 in the Voice and Speech Review Journal, and she writes and edits monthly articles for Modern Singer Magazine. Her studies in "Performance Adrenaline" focus on the effects of chemical increases while performing.
Belinda received her Doctorate in Vocal Performance from Arizona State University, her Masters in Opera Performance from Arizona State University, and her Bachelors in Vocal Performance at Boston University.
